Meggan Dawson-Farrell
Meggan is a Scottish wheelchair racer, who the Blue Eyes Sports Foundation were delighted to sponsor in the lead up to her commonwealth games experience in 2014. She holds the Scottish T54 record over all distances from 400m to the marathon, and is ranked 12th in the world in 1500m in her classification. She competed for Scotland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the T54 1500m, where she placed seventh.
Kirsty Gilmour
Kirsty Gilmour is a Scottish badminton player who has represented both Scotland and Great Britain at international tournaments. The Blue Eyes Sports Foundation was honored to sponsor Kirsty as she continues to compete for her country and individual awards. She won a silver medal at the commonwealth games, and remains an ambassador for the charity.
Erin Kowal
Erin is a 17 year old Muay Thai Boxer who secured a coveted scholarship place, beating more than 200 applicants, at Sutai gym in Phuket, Thailand. The Blue Eyes Sports Foundation were honored to support her on her exciting journey.
It was inspiring to hear a 17 year old talking about having goals, making plans and knowing the steps she has to take to achieve her dream.
