Who are we?

Welcome to our website, the home of the Blue Eyes Sport Foundation!

Our charity was founded in 2012 by the Brown family: Alex, Carole and Robbie. We sponsor individual athletes in need of funding while also donating to teams who we believe are worthwhile causes in the form of an outright cash donation, or in the form of a purchase such as new kit or sports equipment. We’ve been honored to have supported grassroots clubs all the way through to Commonwealth and Olympic athletes. If you are an athlete of part of a team in need of funding, or know of a cause, please send your inquiry via the contact section to our team for review.

How was the idea born?

In 2004, charity founder, Alex Brown, had a vision - to raise £50'000 to help support children in sport. Alex has always strongly believed that there is a direct link between the skills gained from taking part in sport and success in life. Coming through a tough upbringing, Alex found solace in football, and played at Junior level for nearly two decades.

Without football, Alex believes that he wouldn’t have achieved the success that he has in business, as sport allowed him to gain and develop skills such as teamwork, discipline and a strong ethos for winning with integrity.

Alex wants to do all he can to pass on his experience to young people, to give them best possible chance to live a healthy and prosperous life.
